Free Eye Check-up Camp at Chalk Chaipat Samity in association with Netaji Tarun Sangha, Paschim Medinipur on 4th April. WINS PROJECT
In our last project Anna kana Midday meal on 21st july,we were observed inadequacy of tap for hand washing of the students. That time we promised their headmistress about development of proper hand washing facilities at school premises by us and we kept our word. On 4th December, 2016,District 3291 DG Mrs Shyamasree Sen inaugurated WINGS PROJECT at ShyamaCharan Free Primary school, Chandigarh, Madhyamgram. It was sponsored by our club. Computer,printer and accessories donation
Our president Rtn Alok Nath Saha was donated Computer with all accessories,printer and a computer table worth Rs 34422 to Barasat Ramakrishna Math Charitable Dispensary (where more than 50000 poor people are medically treated with almost free of cost with fully free medicine) on 4th December during DG visit. ...read more
Ceiling Fans Donation to Pranab Kanya sangha Ashram
Community service Project-non medical -In our last literacy and midday meal project on 15th August,2016 we were observed scarcity of ceiling Fans at Pranab Kanya sangha Ashram and students have been struggling during summer times. We were decided to donate as much fans as we can in our last board meeting. As per decision 10 fans ( 5 were sponsored by Rtn. Health Checkup camp at Howrah on December,2016
We organised a Free Health check up camp at yubosansad club premises , Howrah in association with doctors of Assure Clinic on 4th December,2016. Total 220 patients came for eye check up , refraction test done, they were given free eye drops ,20 of them diagnosed as Matured cataract and selected for free cataract surgery by Dr Shibram Majhi and his team. Total 100 patients came for free Ecg and medicine check up by Rtn. Dr Pratik Mitra. Surgical checkup done by Dr Mainak pal.Total 70 patients selected for free fasting blood sugar testing. Total beneficiaries 230. It will be our fixed project every year. We are thankful to our rotaract president sayantan and other rotaractors of Barasat central and RC Calcutta Maidan for their participation. We are also thankful to yubosansad club . Pulse Polio SNID on 2016
During Polio SNID programs, members of our club visits the camps in the locality, distributes promotional materials & gifts brought from RID 3291 and encourage the people to have proper vaccination of their children. We also interact with the executors & volunteers for any support they may need from us. In many of our club public programs, we have discussed on Polio eradication and Rotary’s endeavour in eradicating Polio world-wide. ...read more
